Epiphone Thunderbird IV Classic Pro

I bought a white brand new.

Try more than one if possible . The store had a sunburst that just didn't feel right , could have been setup issues , I really can't remember . I do know I was totally turned off by it.

I really like it.
Neck thru
Gibson USA pickups
Haven't had any trouble getting the action low . I can get it so low it's unplayable.

Zero complaints here

I have a white one.

I just picked it up last week. Sounds great, with a really rich, meaty bottom end, fast neck.

I really like it, except for the fact the paint is cracking.

Normally this wouldn't bother me, but the location would make resale pretty tough.

Other side of the neck has a matching hairline crack in the paint.

Looks like the neck could be repaired, or ready to break. But in reality, the headstock is solid.

It plays really well, and could probably take a real beating before sustaining any true structural damage.
