Yes, you are, as is everyone who says this bass will be good, or bad, no one will know for sure until its on the market. tonally or balancewise.


Of course, you have a 50/50% chance, a guess one way or another causes this, I could guess the same of any bass I've not played.

Lets take your Rob Allens for example, I've not played any, but no upper horn could make me guess the Mouse has bad balance, but then I'm not jumping to conclusions without playing one.

Short horn, hollow body, full scale neck. I'd my odds are pretty good.

The upper horn comes to the 14th fret, almost where a Fender does, and they have fine balance, large body, and its semi, not a full hollowbody.

But, I think that they could have made it a short scale. Maybe that's why they put a bolt on neck. To put a short scale neck on it?

I'm also curious about the sound with those unique pickups.

Does anyone else think the black version needs a binding? I'm thinking white or cream or something. Other than that, it's great looking bass.

Any thoughts on volume? It has a reasonably narrow body front to back, making me worry about (unplugged) power. Also, I am not familiar with the projection of F-holes, is that any good normally?

In short, would this bass hold up, volume wise, in an all acoustic setting? Say, against an acoustic guitarist with a heavy right hand?

Ehhh, it won't, its not designed for unplugged use...
