Yes, you are, as is everyone who says this bass will be good, or bad, no one will know for sure until its on the market. tonally or balancewise.
Of course, you have a 50/50% chance, a guess one way or another causes this, I could guess the same of any bass I've not played.
Lets take your Rob Allens for example, I've not played any, but no upper horn could make me guess the Mouse has bad balance, but then I'm not jumping to conclusions without playing one.
