yeah i got a hiwatt DR405, im good on drool for the moment.

did he get his 7th dunwich or is it something else? lol

My squier p bass currently just has the pickup and a volume pot, but I hate the mirrored guard. I'm thinking if I don't get a jazz body, new guard, I recommend GFS 500K audio taper pots, I use them for everything always and never had an issue. 250k and a linear might be vintage correct, but a 500k audio volume and tone gets you more open and still can dial in that vintage tone it's just got more in between.

I'm kinda thinking a varitone and a 1 meg audio volume for my bass vi, I think that might be the best simple setup for a passive bass, especially one pickup ones that you run full on anyways, it'd be good sweep of volume and the tonal shifts would do more for you. Traditional Esquire wiring is also pretty cool. Time to buy a varitone and figure stuffs out.

Momentary on/off switch would also work for you and make things interesting.

Nice! I love the cinemascope logo. I wanted do mine in that but they can't do custom faceplates with that font.


Looks like a MKI GT200. If it's stock then the presence control is actually a volume boost used to make up for the insertion loss in the tonestack. So don't think of it as a traditional tone control.

I love it too, I am excite for sure. The Wizard sounds AMAZING on bass but gets too gritty as its turned up due to it being only 100w. this should get me alot more volume and clean headroom which I can definitely use.

Interesting! I will definitely take a loot at it and play around then report back, maybe even make a lil demo vid.
