Eq pedal vs on board eq

Hey guys, quick question here!

I've got an svt3 pro with a nice 9 band eq. problem is I have to manually switch it on and off with the button. Is there a pedal that can do this for me so i can switch between two settings... or am I destined to get an eq pedal?

don't mind either solution, would rather not waste the svt eq though!

Just buy a footswitch and bung it in there. Then you can use it to mute and switch the EQ on and off.

Yep, just get a footswitch.

You need a dual footswitch with a TRS (tip ring sleeve) plug, fairly common

I'm not sure how much an AUS$ is, but these seem pretty expensive. You can probably find cheaper ones (I just did a quick search for aus. stores).

unbelievable how i missed that in the manual. i think i'll look for a custom footswitch builder, shouldn't be too tricksy!
