I had this one also, and liked it better than the Boss GEB7 (had both the new grey version like above and the old brown version that had different eq values...I liked the brown better than the grey).

I liked that you had several different options with the Trace.

Another vote for the MXR M-108. Input Gain, Output Level, 10-bands of EQness. 18v. Quiet. Works. And top-mounted holes, if that is important to you fitting it on your board.

i still lust after the Fromel Shape though. it's purty & sounds good too.
