EQD delay (or similar)

hey folks,

i'm still searching for that elusive delay pedal for my needs, having tried a fair few now. I am after a small pedal (to fit on the board), with a minimum of 450ms delay time (as for maximum, i doubt i'd use anything more than 600ms or so).

I want either an analog delay, or a very analog sounding digital delay. DD-3 was far too sterile sounding for me, and subdecay echobox still not quite warm enough.

Maxon AD-9 Pro was great but couldn't get the repeats loud enough (didn't get that close to unity volume). malekko 300bright was great sounding, but too noisy/hissy, and not quite enough delay. plus oscillations quite hard to control. mad professor deep blue delay great sounding, but too noisy on the longer repeats.

I'm not fussed by modulation or other extras, I just want a nice, small delay pedal that sounds warm, has at least 450ms and oscillates nicely. the earthquaker devices disaster transport jr seems perfect, has anybody had any experience with this, or can recommend anything similar? mxr carbon copy sounds like it may do the job too, but i've heard they tend to break quite a lot...

cheers!

in case the montavillain isn't for you (i wasn't a fan) check out the Tech 21 Bosst DLA TTT. Its a digital delay with superb analog like qualities with almost all of the controls being analog. It sounds amazing and I only got rid of it to get a Rat-Tail. Tone control of repeats, flutter, triplets, tap-tempo,trails, boost up to 9 dB.....awwww!

cheers - but after a day or so with the montavillian, it's definitely a keeper. i can see why some folks wouldn't like it, but it's exactly what i wanted, nice and vibey echo, and the tone control is super-useful...
