Anyone have any experience with ESP's D-series basses?
The specs say that they come with a merbau body, which is a wood that I've never heard of, and I'm curious as to what its tone is like. When I searched for information on the tonal qualities of merbau, I came up with nothing. Any information on the D-series and the tone of merbau would be greatly appreciated.
