Yesterday I got myself a EA NL210 (I thinks series 3) for use with my Monique and Sumo Baby. I was floored! The low-end and highs are so nice, but the mids are insanely beautiful!
I A/B'd it with a 4 ohm Barefaced 210 and they sounded very different. In fact, the 8 ohm EA sounded louder!
Cab is like new and I will use it when playing without IEM and rehearsal.
So sad to hear they retired selling and innovating. I learned that before I bought the cab.

Thanks John, very helpful. I have an old Wizzy10 that I keep as a backup cab and loaner for folks in need. They seem to like it a lot. If I needed to replace that driver, is there an easy drop in for that as well?

bump for an answer to this for my sake as well. have a fuzzy sounding wizzy10.

I have 3 Wizzy10, and a 12M. they're the best things I ever came across!

they do, in limited supply. hard to get those to europe though. perhaps theres something else by eminence which would work.

Correct. I have a limited supply of the last remaining OEM Wizzy 10 drivers. I was able to snag them when Eminence needed to clear them from their inventory. They're here: Replacement Speaker Driver for EA Wizzy 10

I also have a handful of 4-ohm 12" drivers for Wizzy 12E and MLine cabs. Even if your original cab is an 8ohm, if your driver is shot you can replace it with a 4ohm since there are no other speakers or crossovers in those cabs - you'll just be converting your cab from 8ohms to 4ohms (better than having a dead cab).

Nope.

The drivers were proprietary. You may be able to find a driver that would work well in the cab, but it's not going to sound exactly the same.

The Eminence Kappalite 3012HO Neo 12" Speaker Driver will drop in and work very well as a replacement for CxL-112 and Wizzy12 cabinets.

I have the iAMP500 combo. For country gigs it was perfect... I just put it up on a chair. For rock gigs, I used another 12" wizzy. At one rock gig... I was running at my usual volume settings, and I was getting some distortion. It turns out I had forgot to plug in the extension cab. So be careful out there.

Wow, I just looked and the iAMP500C has been my main amp for 20 years.

I purchased this amp used. It has a very loud buzz on power up that does not go away.

I live in Nashville and have asked several local shops to take a look. They all say that schematic before they will consider a repair.

Does anyone have a schematic for this amp?

Does anyone know if Mr. Gary Gibilisco is still available for consultation or repair?

Hi friends.

Leland Sklar is a major inspiration to me. He is also a big-time user of Euphonic Audio (EA)

I recently purchased a used Euphonic Audio (EA) iAMP 800 Combo Amp - Model# CXL-112C, the same model Leland uses in the studio.

It has a low level buzz/hum when I power it on with nothing plugged in (see linked sound clip). The sound comes from the speaker, not the amp or fan.



I don't think it is related to power supply from my home as I have tried it in various locations.

I ran the audio through a spectrum analysis and it’s not a simple 60/120 Hz...
