Ever seen Heart in concert?

Back in the 70's. I was around 15.
1st band, Head East the Heart then BTO.
Heart blew BTO away.

In the 80's in Jacksonville, Florida. Mark Andes on Bass. Check out his bass playing on the first couple of Firefall albums. Really tasty stuff and those bass lines taught me a lot about tastefulness and restraint while still being awesome in the song.

As a devout Heart fan, I decided to ask this simply because I posted a similar thread about Kansas.

My parents actually think they saw Heart in concert. I know my mom saw Rush in 1976, and she told me that Blue Oyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, and Heart were also on the same bill. I am a little jealous that my mom saw Heart in concert.

Heart had some very good bass players in Steve Fossen and Mark Andes. They were a very compelling live act (but wasn’t every rock band a compelling live act in those days?)

But if you have seen Heart in concert please let me know. There’s actually a clip of Heart performing at the California Jam concert on YouTube. You’ll have to find it…

Saw all those bands! Even got to open for BOC back in the day. Saw Rush many, many times, including their last show at the Forum in LA.

I think I was there. Did they open for Van Halen? (Or vice versa, maybe )

Seen them in the early 80’s with the future wife. They put on a good show and the encore song at the end of the concert was a steppenwolf song magic carpet ride may be wrong with the song but it’s been a while definitely steppenwolf

Pretty sure I saw them on a double bill with Kansas in early 80s. I was a Kansas fan at the time and don’t recall much other than a good show.

I saw them once. I had a job when I was still in high school ushering at the formerly named Boston Music Hall. I remember Roger Fisher playing guitar (at least part of one song) with a violin bow.

No. They were the headliner. I don't remember who opened for them.
