Yeah just reading the thread title made me gag alittle. I work in an office chair all day and took a whiff of that one time... didn't realize how much gas I pass into it over time. I'm sure a drum throne would be hella raunchy.

+1...boo frikity who...I just dont get why people would click on something they know they are not going to like! I think it's attention they are seeking, but thats just my opinion..or maybe they are closet thrown sniffers and feel like we are making fun of them!

I'm a former drummer, so, yes, I know all about the effects of swamp ass on a drum stool. It isn't pretty. I usually tried to clean mine with soap and water once in awhile and that usually helped.

I wonder if that enzyme stuff you get for pet pee would help? Or pack it in a bag with baking soda?

I just used to clean mine regularly and let it air out in the sun when I played drums.

After a show with an old band, my drummer was walking around in his boxers to "air out". He grabbed my hand and placed it on his scrotum. Then he asked me to smell it.

I didn't smell it, but he did. He was grossed out.

Trust me, my friend.........It's weird.
