I swear its hilarious every time i walk from the music room in school to my car...
The first time someone said anything i was carrying it down the sidewalk and this girl and her friends were standing there and talking. I walk by and the girl goes "is that a violin????"
i mean really?!?! A violin?!?! Uhhh no its a bass!!
And another time my ride was late and it started raining it was only me an four other kids. Our teacher says hey do you guys want to go in?" to the other kids. Then he says makayla are you coming in? I dont think you want your guitar getting wet. I said it a bass. So i go inside and one of the kids goes " oh my god thats a huge guitar!!!":/

Hahaha wow... I was renting a 1/4 bass and i needed a 3/4 i know ridiculous right? But so i bring it in in its case and the guy there that was going to switch it for me unzips it and goes oh okay a cello, what size did you need again?

The best are when..." hey its a cello, look that guy has a cello, hey nice cello","no stupid its a bass"

Or

"Hey look its a bass, wow they're big, that's a bass right?","nope its a giant body bag with a wheel at the end, I figure I can get 3 or 4 in there at a time, makes life easy"

Hahahaha thats hilarious my mom always says that with us carrying it around in the back of the car and stuff someones gonna think its a body bag sooner or later:) when the one girl called it a violin i told my friend who also plays bass and she told me i should've said "yeah its a violin! Finally someone doesnt think its a bass!! But yeah its my brother's violin, he's a giant.":)
