He's playing the bass part up an octave.
But the long arpegio thing that starts on the low G on page 2 is done as written.
After this, Jeff has arranged the piece so it modulates to a minor. This is Berlin's arrangment and is not in the written music, which is the original prelude from "Wohltemperierte klavier" by Bach.

I am tabbing it out for Osama Spears, and I just finished most of page 1 in bass clef. It sounds good, so I guess I will just continue. It is a nice little left hand workout!
