I only have P basses now, but it's not based on an exclusive preference. There's been times where I had many different basses of varying styles, brands, eras, production and custom. I'm just at a place personally where I only want as many of something as I actually use. No hate to the people who love to collect instruments, I'm more into making things as a hobby than collecting things. I also made the body for and assembled my primary P bass. If I still had access to a professional milling and woodworking shop like I did a decade ago, I might keep making different instruments just for fun and then keep them.
