Seriously? Fuzz is the most talked about effect on this board, and there are hundreds of threads talking all about it. Fuzz is extreme distortion, and only YOU know if you "need" it.Or, is this a funny re: another thread with similar title? I not so smart to catch humors.

I guess nobody CAN explain why it is needed. "You just need it because you are supposed to" is not an answer.

I've wondered about this myself. I can't say as I've ever thought I needed it at any point. I've used chorus for G&R, and my SVP BSP for taking some guitar lines now and then, but why would I need fuzz?
