For whatever strange reason, the thumb on my fretting hand would be killing me when I first started playing bass. Not so much the case anymore, but who else would want that name?

Do you think the(Esteban signature balsa-wood classical)guitar comes w/one?;) If so, I'm on it!

What a coincidence! Shortly after I had replied to your post and suggested you, "...go git one, son..." wouldn't you know it... there was 'ol Esteban himself right there on my TV screen. It was that Gieko Insurance commercial (which I happen to like...), where that rock band is auditioning a guitar player... you know the one... Hey, toss in a couple of Latina senorita babes clicking a pair of castanets in each hand, then I'm in there, too! :D

Burgerme - one of my favorite TV shows was "Ed," about a lawyer who left his Manhattan job and returned to the small town (of course filled w/ quirky people) where he grew up. Guess it was always a fantasy of mine to do that.

Anyway, Ed and his best friend always had these goofy "$10" bets. On one episode, Mike told Ed:

Mike: "I bet you $10 you won't order another burger..."
Ed: "That's it - what's the catch?"
Mike: "You gotta order it by saying, 'Burgerme'"

Hilarity ensued.

After WWII my grandfather was released from prison, sent to America and rose a family working on the wages of being an artist. His name (Leon Koschusko) is quite hard to pronounce and harder to remember so he shortened his pen name to Kosko. I've heard so many stories about him and find them all incredible. I never got the chance to meet him, but his philosophy and heart still influence me. So thats where my name comes from.

I have long, dextrous, quick, presice fingers.
Your fingers can only be as precise as your mind...:D

Blackbird: A song written by a bassist (McCartney) and covered by a bassist (Jaco).

Also, when Woodchuck joined, I thought his name was really cool and wanted an animal name too. Since I like birds, this one was the logical choice.
