They are made by Hipshot, but they do not sell them to the public.
You can buy them on eBay from the stratsphere.
I got one for the B string on my P5 and one for the A string on my Jazz.
Is there anyone here who does this? Is this even necessary?View attachment 436120
You have to buy a set of tuners for a American Deluxe that came from the factory with it. I waited for them to have a sale and bought the set, removed the Strong arm and replaced it with the flat washer from my bass and resold the new set of tuners.could you post a link to that - I just looked and didn't see them

I got $10 less for one set and $15 less for the other set.
$25 for two arms, smokin deal!

Fender will not sell them and will not let Hipshot sell them.So is that Fender/Hipshot's "clever" marketing strategy to sell those tuners? ~sucks~ - just sell the damn retainer for christs sake!
