I like 5, 8, 10, and 12 string basses
I don't mean to troll here ...

but am I the only one getting tired of facebook?

I know it is a good way to connect and even promote your band ... but it is overloaded with cutsie kitch and meaningless posts.

I am embarassed to be there ...

(to the moderators ... I hope I am not breaking any rules here)

I do a fair amount of check ins and updates, but not the "going to the grocery store" crap some people do 100 times a day. Luckily I don't have many of my friends doing that. I find it a good way to keep in touch with old friends who I never see. If I didn't have them on FB I would totally lose touch with them.

I never liked Facebook...I always preferred myspace because I could edit the backrounds and such.

I feel facebook is a lot like cell phones - it's an extra obligation that rids you of any privacy. What if I wanted to disappear for the weekend? 'OMGZ NO WHERED ERIC GO!? HEZ NOT ON FB N HEZ NOT ANSWERIN HIS CELL PHONE!'

Ugh...
I never check mine anyways. I don't give a crap about someone getting a new butterfly tattoo.
