Isn't the 3rd one a drozd? I don't know but it's starting to look like something close to a fair trade. The Q6 is probably worth $1800 and the VJ $1200. Is the Drozd worth $3000. Well they are expensive and it is a 6er. Take a real close look at the options on it.
that is a tough one imo. a compltely tricked out drozd has a somewhat sketchy used value, but used I wouldn't expect to be able to buy that anywhere for at least 2000, and most likely much more than that for that one. I figure a q6 is around 1600 used value (depending on year or so), so seems like it might be equal at semi-best case scenario.

Have you played the JD? If "yes", is it a significant improvement over either of the Moduli? If "no", can you easily flip it for $3000 should it prove to be less-than-satisfactory?

so list on it is 6,665, but that is list. There is a less than spectacualr (imo) drozd (the white one at LAG, which is where this bass is) for 4 Gs, and if i was looking for something really hyped up, that drozd would seem tempting.
Point being, there are some 'extreme' basses that i think are plain fugly, and some that I think are pretty sweet. The drozd you are looking at is pretty sweet. NAMM bass too, doubt there will be a lot of those.
Value wise, I think you could be at a fair spot, but just know you will have a slightly harder time flipping the drozd over flipping both of your moduluses. AND, and the LAG is usually pretty good about this, you should see if you can get a 48 hour approval system going on or something. Sure you might lose on shipping if it really isn't your thinkg, but that is a small price versus having something you just don't dig.

the modulus q6 is a custom shop model i just had built. it was the first of a limited 2008 run of four q6 sweetspots with the turbo option. they havent built them in over 10 years, i had it built to match the vj4. i payed 3625 for the q6t, so id say its prolly worth a bit more then the 1600-1800 you guys are projecting. the vj4 was around 2200, and the jerzy is listing around 6g, but i dunno what that will translate into as far as street price.

The body is the standard Etimoe, with a very tightly Flamed Maple top.
And , matching headstock AND fretboard inlay.

personal opinion aside on the trade, it is a very fair trade. $3k is basically the trade value you are give up for the Drozd and the Drozd is easily worth that if not more. I would say its a trade you would have to do if you wanted the Drozd.

ok, 08 custom q6, used still about 2000-2200, to be safe I'd say 2000 (not trying to knock your instrument, just being real about what 'used' means), that vj might not go much over 1200.
It would seem that those two would be under the price of the Drozd new still, but that begs another question.
you just got the q6, and? is it not working for you, or is the grass greener on the other side?
be honest about how you feel about the q6.
i love my basses. i just love change. ive played modulus's for over 10 years and i just want a change i think. that jerzy is so unique and eye catching. and they sound incredible (i played the green boy at 06 namm)

The Drozd is hot, not doubt. He is asking $5k, I would stick with the matched pair of Moduli you have. If for some reason you ever had to flip the Drozd, you would never get anywhere close to 5k. You may get 3k if you are lucky.
I think the two Mods you have are awesome looking, especially the VJ for me.

don't do it then. you sound like you might become a victim of the grass is greener on the side, which actually never terminates if you don't make it stop. happened to me.....
