I have no idea why you'd want to turn the sag control up and down while you're playing, but I guess there's a first for everything.
Not quite a zombie thread...
What exactly does the "sag" control do? To my untrained ear (know nothing about OD pedals), the resulting change in character is similar to that of the drive control...but not quite. I suspect it has something to do with the soft break-up one would one expect when pushing a tube to its upper limits. Honestly, I don't have a good ear for this type of thing. FTR, I bought the Barbershop based entirely on the comments & reviews in this thread...good move on my part and thank you!

the sag alters the voltage in the circuit. all the way counter-clockwise is the least voltage, this reduces the headroom, caused more distortion and changes the character of the distortion. the lower the voltage the more "brown" it sounds and more "glitchy".
Currently waiting on a Barbershop to be delivered! Canada post says the expected date is today. Eagerly waiting!!
Anyone have experience with Canada Post? The expected delivery date for my Barbershop on their site was Saturday and it still hasn't showed.

7 days since expected delivery, still nothing. Been in sorting for 11 days.
Thought about your situation last evening while I was gigging my FCBS. Any idea as to what the hold-up may be?
For a change, I ran mine just in front of the compressor and it actually sounded better.

After 10 days the tracker had activity again and somehow my package was routed to the wrong state. Anyway, been playing with the pedal a few days and I'm obsessed, I keep going back and forth from using more dirt from the OCD stacking over it, and then scaling it back and using it as a boost for the Barbershop's drive.
From Fairfield Circuitry's Facebook: "There is only one Barbershop Overdrive available to ship before we retire the model! Some stores will carry them until their current stock runs out. Snatch em up!"

Interesting. Not sure what I would change on the Barbershop, other than form factor. The options on that delay sound very cool.
I just hope they keep it SIMPLE and would like it in a smaller box ( sized like the unpleasant surprise perhaps?).
A size decrease would be very cool.
