Fairfield Circuitry - THE CLUB

Honestly, I am still planning on getting that delay but the first few minutes of the demo was putting me off big time. I like demos that spend some time actually showcasing each setting and not just rapidly moving from one setting to another without really exploring the functionality.

The SA OFD demo was also pretty off I thought. But, hey, no disrespect to the guy, he's truly talented and I get that these are not really intended as hardcore in depth comprehensive product demos.

I love delays that let you control (or at least to some degree) the modulation of the repeats, which i just realized until today after seeing that review (and now it makes sense to me why i love the Mem Boy Deluxe haha).

Looking forward to seeing a more in-depth demo of that feature!

The Accountant just arrived...
So far it sounds promising - favorite setting thus far is ratio-0/Pad-1...but that's just after the first half hour of playing around with it.
What I can say with certainty is that the light is very bright. :)

Do Fairfield pedals operate equally well, regardless of where in the world one is?
Different places run different voltages. No?

Many devices have switches to take care of those differences...pedals not so much.

I'm thinking about it.... :) The samples on the preorder page are so much closer to what I was hoping for than the Juan demo. The random tape like feature is really cool. I'm just on the fence about a few other purchases right now :)

I'm trying to justify getting the Delay and a friend just pointed out the description to me (I must admit that I did not even read it, I just listened to the samples and read the bottom paragraphs).

But, after reading the first paragraph, I think I really do need one:

"Imparting a dark and tape-like quality to your sound, this analogue delay offers a rich and distinct character for you to wallow in luxury, self-righteousness and filth"
