Monochrome White Painting is a 1963 Li Yuan-chia white canvas expressing the position of the individual in the infinite space of the universe.
It's worth Millions, so maybe this thread is pure art.
The photos are pretty blurry, but the bridge looks like Chickenbacker standard. The upper horn looks really wrong, and the triangle inlays are too small. The fingerboard looks like rosewood, which Ric never used. Looks like 22 frets? Rics are 20 fret. Bridge pup surround looks too narrow. I could go on..... Any better photos available? I feel like Drunk Detective with dirty glasses looking at that.
Edit: ok, looked at the link, Chickenbacker Standard. Set neck instead of neck through the quickest tell. They are not as horrible as some knockoffs, I've played one. Needed at least a full fret level and polish, frets just banged in and shipped. The paint job was pretty good. Crap hardware, and sounded nothing like a Ric. Can be had for $250-300 all day long on Aliexpress.

Apparently there are some white dots on the middle and it represents how an individual is both the beginning and end of existence. I just read an article about it...

Definitely fake. There are no QC issues or bubbling paint.
It is a fake Ric, but it is a real fake Ric.
