"Fancy" all tube bass combo???

I like that, but it looks less 1950s Googie and more Andy Warhol lol.

I love that 1950s Raygun Gothic look, but I'd want to rehouse or re-cover an amp and speaker cab I already know I like. The Ampeg B15 in a stylized shell of choice, for example. Probably more work than it's worth, but it'd be cool and as a bonus it would make the Ampeg purists howl.

That's basically just a 50's era bassamp, they had a few different weird tweed and leather coverings. They were often stripped back to the wood, I had this one from the mid 50s

Or go even older and find a 40's michael-hull bass amp with the pearloid exterior.

View attachment 4120216 Could do this, not all tube, rather hybrid. I have a plain one for sale here, but I do have those Mesa brown leather corners and brown handle waiting for a custom tolex job that never happened.

I own a combo and extention cab in 15" with that color combo. Looks great. Sounds ridiculously good.

Had I known you are into MCM, I would have given you a pair of real MCM chairs that my mother bought new in the late 1950s, a pair of Selig Z Chairs. They were great chairs, just didn't fit in with my 1917 Arts & Crafts home.

Not the original cushions, however.

Regardless, they are now with new owners.
My fancy combo per excellence for sure... Now lets find some tubes and basses...
