faster action on bass

im trying to get faster action on my fender jazz, but ive never done it before, does anybody have a tutorial or walk me though the process of lowering the strings??

Is your neck curved or straight? If it's curved forward, fix that.

Then take an hex wrench to the bridge saddles. Lower them 'till the open strings buzz. Then raise it a bit. Bam you're done.

Or you could run the simplest of Google searches and not even need to waste your time and ours starting this thread.

Action isn't "fast" - only your fingers are fast. Low action will help, but will only take you so far - the rest is practice!
