@Son of Wobble did you take this photograph? You could work on your lighting skills. But I forgive you. The subject matter would be rather distracting for you, I imagine.
Aaaand let the drooling begin!.....Cut the scarf joint and thicknessed the headstock down to 5/8". Ultimately, I'll plane it down to about 9/16"
The pieces are taped together here in preparation for planing the scarf joint face.

Tomorrow I'll install the walnut skunk stripe, rout the TR channel and add the CF TOW back strap and rout for the Bruce Bars.
