Favorite 15” Speaker cab?

IMG_0807.JPG
The ACC Acoustic 420 series cabs are very rare ... slightly bigger than the 360 and 301 cabs the 420 had EVM 15L speakers rather than the CV 18s very efficient I power it with an old Acoustic 140 that's pumping 70 watts at 8ohms which is what the cab is rated

Concerning the Fender Neo 115 , buyer beware , although the description of the sound quality is very accurate, the weight on my new cabinet from GC was in the 50 pound range. Had to return it. Fender finally updated the specs on their webpage. Pretty heavy for a Neo cab ?

True. I forgot that I returned the 2nd one I bought. It was up near 62lbs when the advert hard on the actual cab when I bought it started under 50lbs or sumthin.
To cut a long story... I returned the cab to my local dealer and bought an earlier serial no of the same cab - 2nd hand. This new one is under 50lbs as my original one is also.
Fender stated that they changed the wood and..... hadn't changed the advertising blurb :bored:
Anyway, both mine are lightweight and sound great, so I'm happy:)

I have two SWR Golight 15s. They are light, loud and sound amazing. 42 pounds each.

Used to run a pair of the Boogie 15 EV-loaded cabs. Those were amazing in a very different way. The SWRs, like all SWR stuff, sound very "hifi". The Boogies did not.

I'm beginning to think I'll never find a micro head that I like but the majority of weight of one's rig is in the cabs and I'm about as light as I can get.
