My buddy Danny got one exactly like that for his 17th birthday.... totaled it a couple years later

He was a typical womanizing, north Jersey playa (family ran a cigarette machine / jukebox / video game company if you can make the connection). It's like a piece of him died when he lost the car... it was sad yet amazing how close to Arnie Cunningham he was

Never been that keen on US muscle cars - the narrow winding roads over here tend to get me GASing over lighter nimbler beasts... I'll make an exception for the Charger, cos I was born in the 70s and grew up ogling both Daisy Duke and the General Lee.


Always liked the Daytona Cobra too.... and there's a new version which I'd happily sell a kidney for.... if only my kidneys were worth anything...

Lotta nice choices in this thread! I haven't thought about American muscle cars since I was a little kid, but I used to drool over the Pontiac GTO "Judge" and the Dodge Charger Daytona, both circa 1969.

I'm afraid I wouldn't have the energy or time to keep a car in the kind of condition like the ones above are.
