Favorite american muscle car

mustang_front.jpg

I know it's not muscle (it's a pony car) but I'm saving up for that as my first car when i get my license:hyper::bassist:

'68 Ford Cobra GT500 ragtop
and
'68 Oldsmobile 442 W30 ragtop

Man, you hit it.
Except I'd go '69 instead of '68 on the W30.
I learned to drive in a '69 442 convertible (but not a W30).
That sucker came out of the driveway at 60 mph in reverse...
It's an absolute wonder that I didn't die before I was 18...
Cost my guardian angel more than a few grey hairs, I'm sure. :D

Rock on, kid!

Saw a teenager driving an old TransAm the other day, ca. late '70's. Had the big spoiler. It was black primer, but he was grinning from ear to ear.

May your car bring you joy, and don't you try to wrap it around anything, you hear? ;)

i need oxygen. im outta breath. i love when you talk cars like that. :D

{{{grin!}}}

I just love those old beasts. My father used to let me help him work on his car and his truck, until mother made him stop so I would learn to be a lady. So, I didn't learn everything I could have. But I've always...*always*...loved the sound and the feel of the muscle cars. I got infected real young. The smell of GoJo, burning rubber, and gasoline turn me on more than any expensive cologne. ;)

Motorhead 'til I die...

The ultimate American muscle car is none other than....
1965 Shelby AC Cobra 427 S/C (specifically #CSX 3015)

In fact, if all other American muscle cars were to not exist, this car would still have enough muscle to make America the king of muscle cars. This is a fact and is not disputable. Doing so will result in the immediate crushing of your favorite muscle car. :D

This is true, however the thread is about favorite, so.. I'll say '69 Shelby gt500 eleanor
