You know, (and I don't mean to sound gushing) But There are many times when you evaluate your life thus far. This appears to be one of those times.. I've had the honour and privilege of, several times, over the last thirty years, playing in... some of the country's, if not the worlds, most prestigious concert venues. I mean through various musical genres...Symphony orchestras, brass bands, wind bands and individual artists, to play in The Royal Albert hall, Birmingham symphony hall, Royal festival hall, Queen Elizabeth hall and NEC arena etc... Some people measure 'success' in either the terms mentioned or how much money was earned or how many people viewed the performance. I, however, see things in a different way. If you're ever privileged enough to play along side a musician who plays with heart, soul, passion and an unfaltering love for the music then you are really and truly blessed and guaranteed a night to remember. Every time I have played with Bill has been one of those nights... Love you mate......
