Certainly!
- I am new enough I'm not a 'core member' as yet
- I am not making money from TBC. A handful of people have come to my site to buy things directly after seeing them on the channel - there were two videos about my 3d print stuff back in 2019, when I had just met the other guys.
- The channel is still small enough that the only monetization just goes to keeping the channel running; everyone has actual jobs as well
- The guys disclose when they have been given product as compensation (per youtube guidelines)
- And all the gear-review videos are very heavy on letting the viewer decide for themselves, instead of saying 'we think this is awesome' or 'we think this sucks' much.

Katie Thiroux is my favorite teacher for DB.

I like Rodney McG's Metal Bass Monday vids. His advice and opinions are practical. On the other side of the spectrum of musical style, I also like Leland Sklar's channel. Even if he isn't playing along all the time, he has good stories of his career and experiences.

I really enjoy Scott's Bass Lessons. But it's a little weird that he took on a colleague who looks so much like him that you have to stare at every video a second to see which of them it is.

while I follow a particular twentysomething bassist and an Israeli bassist, I am so amazed by the crop of kids of incredible talent in the age 5 to 10 I am amazed that these kids have thrown over video games for music. Glarry has got it right with a very affordable mini mini precision and amp set for less than $150 including sales tax
