Favorite brickwall limiter VST

The tried and true Waves L2 is the standard for many professionals. It’s old but it still does its thing well. The Sonnox Oxford that includes their inflator circuit is really nice albeit spendy. The Fabfilter Pro-L is really nice and like all things made by Fabfilter the GUI is hard to beat.
These days for a safety to keep the red lights off when gain staging a mix I’ll just use Logic’s built-in one which sounds good enough for that task. For mastering I use Ozone’s Maximizer.

Do you need something with low latency for tracking, or just for mixing/"mastering"?
In digital-land, true brickwall/intersample clip prevention will involve at least a bit of lookahead/latency.
For tracking - your DAW probably has a usable one - I use the stock Ableton limiter (1.5 ms lookahead), or in other DAWs, the Voxengo EBusLim (0.5 ms).
For mixing, my favorites are Invalid Link Removedand Tokyo Dawn Labs Limiter 6 GE - both have clippers/saturation, compression stages, and LUFS loudness metering. I don't own any FabFilter stuff but hear nothing but good about them. I avoid Waves like the plague, they tend to pull you in with cheap sale prices and then catch you on the back end with their scammy paid upgrade/support schemes.
