Favorite colors matching on P bass?

Any solid color without a pick guard. My personal two favorites are white and red. Don't have personal pics to post from work though. But here are other peoples photos.

Colors, colors, any solid color for the body except black. Never liked black.

Same for the pickguard, any color except black. White isn't much of a color but can stand out nice with some color combos.

Maple boards look best.

For me it's about the contrast: I.e. White Body/Black Guard/Maple Neck or Color/White Guard/Rosewood. Kinda like the two I own.

Too damn many to list, but at the moment I'm partial to this one. My Squier VM P5 - PG was white but I found an OEM tort PG here on TB.

Natural ash-tortoise-maple with (preferably pearl) blocks, white-tortoise-rosewood, sunburst-tortoise-rosewood, black-white pearloid-maple, in that order.

Got my first black one in 1977, put a tort guard on it. I'll bet I've had (bought and sold) 10 or 12 that color since then.

(And, yes, I'm well aware my room was a mess in the 70s, I was a lazy kid.)
