There is just something about a girl with a bass. My favorite, hands down, is Paz Lenchantin. Not a huge Perfect Circle fan, but her growl in their first album is nice. Looking at her is also nice. This thread has undoubtably been done many times before. So once again, who is Your favorite female bassist?

Other than that, I don't really care.I listen to music 1st, then if it happens to be a girl bass player, or a guy, doesn't matter to me.

For the purpose of actually playing the instrument well, Carol Kaye is probably the best I've heard.
