Favorite jazz bass replacement pickups

As far as my 74 Fender Jazz, pssst that easy the stock ones that it came with,My Marcus Miller V Seymour Duncans 70-74..sounds like the stock pup but they have more oompph to them.I tried all the others like Fralins, Nordstrands and even Jason Lollars, and they were great, but when I wanted that real gritty Fender sound those pups didn't have it were I wanted except the SD's for the MM5.

i was kinda behind the curb on this one, but aguilar makes jazz pickups.
from the sound clips they sound awesome!

i could list off dozens of pickup sets ive been meaning to try, but this one just recently was added to my list.

I just ordered a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. If I put a set of Nordstrand NJ4SV pickups on it, is it still gonna have that classic Fender tone? I can't decide between the Nordstrand NJ4SV's or the regular NJ4's.

They are close in tone, but I still here the difference just a touch in the mids with the NJ4s.

I'm very partial to the NJ4s.
