Nah, not really. I have an '88 Kramer Forum III that's much blacker than that The only things that aren't black are the frets - only because it doesn't have strings at the moment. Frankly, it's kind of a buzzkill, every time I take it out of it's case. I'll alleviate it's doomy-gloomy vibe one of these days... Emerald Green finish and gold hardware, I'm thinking...

Sorry; I think I was a little unclear. A bass that's absolutely unrelieved Black - like my '88 Kramer? That hockey stick headstock and unrelieved Black was fine for an '80s Spandex/Hair Metal band, but... now? Uhh... NO. Your bass, OTOH? I kinda like it, actually. I'd like it even better if it also had the bridge cover on it, though. The chrome hardware and the B/W/B pickguard make that bass pop...
