Favorite (not so common) Body Color?

The best I've owned is my Cherryburst 1988 L-2000. Such beauty...

I have never seen this color before buying the bass, so I can't say if it's uncommon or not. I only ever see tobacco, 3TS, solid black and natural body basses.

I love it!

Sounds like a wine to me, so I'd say it classifies as uncommon

Though there's quite a few Silver Squier CV Jazz basses around, I still don't think Silver is a very common colour.

I'm enamoured of that Dolphin Gray finish you find on some MIJ AeroDyne basses.

I'd love to get a PBass or a Jag in that color someday.

I don't know why because I've actually never seen one in person but I really like the Antigua color scheme, especially with a maple fingerboard.

Love the Antigua finish. That first image makes me firm. I'll take one in fretless rosewood please. The original finishes had a more green tint. The new ones overemphasize the yellow imho.

Congrats! That's a beauty. Looks much better with the MOTS Pg. and the blocks. The white makes the pink standout. That was certainly one case where tort fails. It made the pink look drab. Uh oh, here come the torches and pitchforks.

Thanks! The lighting in the two pics a a lot different, but I do prefer the pearl pg to set off the pink.

I was at GC yesterday and saw a VM Strat in a gorgeous lavender metallic flake color. I don't know the name of the shade, but I'd love a jazz bass in that finish...

Wow! I wasn't planning on posting, just browsing through the pics. There are some nice colors, but the wine red metallic p bass with the tort guard.....I may just have to risk the wrath of my wife to pick up one like that, even though I definitely don't need another bass. Now I have major GAS!!!
