No black pickguard, but still:

That bass is just BEGGING for a custom Walnut pickguard!

When I ordered my ESP from Musicians friend they only had one black one left (the popular color) but they had the 'titanium silver' ones at $50-75 off. On the web site it was silver.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find what I'd call Metallic Olive.
Not the best pic.

I'm a sucker for beautiful wood grains under transparent finishes, but have been really wanting a Fender-style 5'er with Lake Placid Blue over Fender's 3-Tone Sunburst, heavily relic'd. Gonna have to wait until I have some extra cash though. :(

I have always loved the Fender "Surf era" colors, and their metallic. Some of my favorites are Daphne Blue, Seafoam Green, Dakota Red, Burgundy Mist, Firemist Gold, Charcoal Frost, Ocean Teal and Sherwood Green.
My favorite Gibson colors are; Piano Black, Phelham Blue (especially when it has aged to green), Inverness Green, Cardinal Red, Polaris White, and Cherry
Carvin does a color called Moonburst which is a blueburst that fades to purple, it looks fantastic as does their Dragonburst.

Of my basses I have a Jazz in LPB and a Precision in British Racing Green which is similar to the Gretch Cadillac Green just a bit darker. My MIJ Jazz is Vintage White. My Gibson SG is Faded Brown which is okay but at some point I really want to have it painted Inverness Green.
