Favorite Pedal Tuner

Completely agree. It's configurable beyond expectation for a tuner, but works just fine plug and play. Can be true bypass or buffered. And you can adjust the colors and brightness on the gigantic screen that's super easy to read.

I do agree with those praising the Strobostomp HD. I love mine. The strobe-style feedback lets me get super accurate. Handy for doing intonation. I love the big screen and the choice of colors. But it's not perfect. Mine has a noticeable lag when engaging it. Even worse, it has a pop when disengaging.

I've been using this cheapo Donner tuner for awhile now:

I can't speak to better or worse than others - it does track faster than a Behringer tuner I used to use and find that it even tracks the low B well - almost in real time.

I don't experience any pops - but I agree with previous thoughts that it's probably something else in your signal change that is amplifying the button click. I've had pedals that popped only to discover after a lot of fiddling that something else was the cause.

Have not seen GoGo's pedal tuner mentioned yet. Mine's been in continuous use for 5 years, no issues. Huge window, very bright even outdoors, dead silent, regular footprint. Comes in black, too.
Over the years I've had Boss, Polytune and Strobostomp pedals but I like the GoGo best by a mile.
