I think that whatever is durable and fits your board is fine. For setups and whatnot you need a better tuner, but for live, I prefer something durable that fits. I really like my korg pitchblack for that. I have a peterson that I use at home.

Turbo Tuner ST-300 is my first choice.
Boss Waza is my second choice.
Polytune Mini 3 I liked as well, but there are reports about TC switches going bad.

I recently went through the decision to get a pedal tuner.

Decided the Strobostomp mini was touch much money. Reviewing the difference between the Korg Pitch Black and the Polytune, I preferred the display of the Korg, so that's what I went with. Only thing I miss is the live monitoring but I can live.
