Favorite Rythym Section

Chris A,
What a treat it must have been to hang with the Feat.I met Lowell in a place called The Calderone Concert Hall here in NY around 1977 and he was pretty nuts.I always loved they're music and especially the rhythm section.Liberty DeVitto is a friend of mine(and an excellent drummer)and he said that Ritchie is a real nice guy.

GK--
It was great hanging with them. My drummer got a picture taken with Ritchie and my guitar player( who works at a camera store) got it blown up for him for an Xmas present. The gig was a couple of years ago and to this day it was one of the best experiences of my musical career. For 2 nights in a row we got to watch some serious jamming. The first night from right behind Ritchie's kit and the second night from the mixing booth.

Chris A.

I like this. Everyone always seems to hate what I like. And coincedentaly, they always express their feelings in the last post before mine. I like the rythm of Reggie and David. And if you wanna talk REAL RYTHM, then listen to SLIPKNOT. A drummer, two percussion players, and a bassist. That is some hear pounding rythm... eh? eh?

Hey bro (mega). I like Kitty too man. But you ar right about the drummer being the best part of the band. The bass player sux! I understand the wanna-be-drummer thing. He's even admitted that he is more like a drummer on his bass. That's his style. It's all good. laterz...

PS. I just got the new Warwick catalog today. Damn. Sweet. Good lord. Sweet :) again!!!

If you wanna talk ECONOMICS(ie $$$), then let's include Hansen, The Spice Girls, 'N Sync, blahblah yaddayadda. Those "bands" & their sidemen are making more cake than PLAYERS like William Parker, Ben Allison, Torsos, Flecktones, etc. Music, not product, should be(IMO)merited on something else other than $$$; it's supposed to be an art, right?

...congrats, Brad; you have a fan! :D

John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. They've been solid for a long time now.

And don't forget, their multi-multi-platinum band that
has been going for 30+ years with different frontmen/
women was named after THE RHYTHM SECTION! I think
that's something we all need to reflect on!
