I love selling / buying / trading here on TB. Ya'll are a great and trustworthy community :D
I've met many cool people here and really been able to try out a lot of nice instruments and effects because I know I can resell and trade.

I was selling on Ebay and Reverb for many years but fees and sales tax are brutal. I'm guaranteed to take a big loss most of the time. If I know I must sell something because I won't use it, I will start here then go to Reverb. Reverb has really good service most of the time and lots of traffic so it's usually a good way to sell if you can pay for the fees / bump.

Haven't done craigslist or Facebook yet but I might, there are some good communities on FB which overlap with the TB members I see here.

This thread reminds me I need to list a bunch. Last year I grabbed up, traded up, bought and sold several despite not being an octopus - I can't play 4 at a time. I will turn some loose.

I pretty much only sell in person if I can help it. It's not an issue every time I've sold something online & shipped to the buyer, but I'd rather avoid the numerous potential frustrations of doing so.

It's kind of the same story for buying gear for me as well.
