Favorite short-lived TV series

Timecop was based on the movie of the same name but only aired 9 episodes.

The original x files series.
Only aired one season.

I just wiki'd this to make sure...I was 14 when this originally aired & I really liked it. My wife is younger & she swore by it...a couple years ago, we stumble upon it on Netflix. Well, time did not treat The Night Stalker well. In our opinion.
Will say, the TV movie (which launched the series) was creepy (in its time). :)

I also did not know that Frank Spotnitz (X-Files) did a remake in 2005. It bombed.

I was very happy to see Sledge Hammer! the first program in this thread.

Flash Forward

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (featuring Iceman and Firestar)

Police Squad! in Color (Bought this DVD)

Greatest American Hero

Parker Lewis Can't Lose

Futurama

Agent Carter

Voyagers! (Time travellers visiting different points in history, using a device that looked like a "pocket watch")

Two cartoons from the mid 70's.

1. Like an animated "Land of the Lost". The boat got lost in a whirlpool and landed in an ancient world of dinosaurs.

2. Like an animated version of the "Waltons". In one episode a boy and his grandfather are discussing various little toys he could select as a prize in a game, like a rabbit's foot, a whistle, etc. This is vague I know.

I'll add this one: The original "Ghostbusters". It was a half-hour comedy with Larry Storch, Forest Tucker, and a guerilla.

Someone jumped in with Men of a Certain Age. I liked that one as well.

Add yet another vote for Firefly.

I really liked this show. It was fun, the guys did a great job with the music, and it really had heart. Of course, they had to schedule it on a weekend night where a good chunk of the likely audience is probably at a venue either watching or playing.
