Two cartoons from the mid 70's.

1. Like an animated "Land of the Lost". The boat got lost in a whirlpool and landed in an ancient world of dinosaurs.

2. Like an animated version of the "Waltons". In one episode a boy and his grandfather are discussing various little toys he could select as a prize in a game, like a rabbit's foot, a whistle, etc. This is vague I know.

I'll add this one: The original "Ghostbusters". It was a half-hour comedy with Larry Storch, Forest Tucker, and a guerilla.

Very cool. That's got to be both of them. I know Valley of the Dinosaurs was the one because of the whirlpool, and I remember them being pulled up by the rope now that I see it again. Thanks for posting!
