favorite Star Trek series

Enterprise could have been a lot more but imo
-lacked good stories, if you're up against the first seasons of BSG, you'll have to come up with something good. The only cool story line was the Xinti attack & war
-lacked strong characters. The captain didn't work for me, neither did T'Pol. Maybe the engineer & the weapons officer, but that was about it.

I own those on DVD. Not bad. I show them to my elementary students once in a while and they like them.
I've been getting into DS9. My buddy at work has been letting me borrow his DVD's.
I don't even remember how it happened... haha.
I used to hate.... well I never gave Star Trek a chance really. I guess I saw a few Next Gen episodes when I was a kid, and thought they were boring.
I'm on season 4 of DS9 in less than 3 weeks of watching. Needless to say it's not so boring anymore.

I'm a junky for Scifi TV shows... over the last year+ I've been rewatching all of them. I've covered:

Voyager
DS9
TNG (actually watching season 6 episode 21 right now)

Andromeda
Firefly
Original V
New Battlestar Galactica
I've got the first 2 seasons of TOS ready to watch after I finish TNG (kinda went backwards in my viewing).
Original series wa by far the best.
Next Generation was more like Social Workers in Space
DS9 was sub Babylon 5
Enterprise was ok, more or less
Voyager was awful

I pretty much agree with all of the above. I liked the last movie as well with the younger characters.
I much prefer Firefly these days and some of the other SyFy channel shows.
I've been doing the same thing, except I've been getting them from Netflix. I never really watched DS9 much when it was on, but I've really been enjoying seeing the show now. They really had some well written episodes. It really helps to watch the series from the beginning because each show really builds on the one before. Much more than OS or TNG did.
TNG - I just enjoyed the characters more than the other series
Enterprise - Characters were weaker, but I liked the "lazer" slicing a line across the planet, and the T'Pol back in time episode (Carbon Ridge?) was my favorite
Original - Characters were great and the stories were often crazy silly
