"House"- great in both it's scoring as well as the songs selected to work within the episode - the later choices convey the mood on-screen *very* well.
"Burn Notice" - absolutely
killer score, very fretless bass-heavy pieces of music as well as Miami-centric music.
"Battlestar Galactica" - by far, the hands-down
best scored television show since "Twin Peaks". You can trace the expansion of the music from it's original "Loud Bangy Drums" nontraditional Sci-Fi score from the miniseries to inclusions of more orchestral parts over the seasons...
and they've pulled it off in a live setting as well!...
"Roslin and Adama" Live at Grand Performances 6-13-2009
Invalid Link Removed - listen to the explanation at the beginning as to why this is a "World Premiere" for an episode that ran months ago.
"Prelude to War" Live at Grand Performances 6-13-2009 - As some one YouTube aptly pointed out, this song is "The Imperial March" of BSG, and one of the
huge action cues from the song.
"Kara Remembers/Heeding The Call/All Along The Watchtower" Live at Grand Performances 6-13-2009 w/ Katee Sackoff
- anyone who watched the show knows the "Watchtower" connection, and this is a performance of what the using of the song ultimately expanded and turned out to be. Simply amazing.
