I love the J...it just seems to do everything for me. The finger tones and slap tones seem to work in many contexts.

Well, I love the Fenders, but I would have to say the MM Sterling is my new favorite. I love the way the bass sounds and plays. I have a PJ config on a Fender bass that I can't seem to want to part with also (SD Bassline pickups in it). Kind of interesting that they both share their origin!

MM builds some great basses.

I went with P-Bass....I like the Jazz Bass too and other basses as well. There is just something about the low thumpyness of the P-Bass I just can't ignore.

Next time they have a poll I'll vote Jazz Bass....
