Coincidentally I just heard this one the other day for the first time in a long while and was thinking about creating a post, lol. When I heard it I realized I never noticed it’s a single note line from beginning to end and it struck that it is not boring…IMO great tune great bass line.

I could swear I saw Rocco doing chromatic runs on that one.

It does raise a point : what really qualifies as "root notes only" ?
There are a lot of great lines that are "riffing on the root" rather than "only root notes".
Does mostly root notes, plus some extra Rocco sauce, actually count?
