Firstly, I must apologize my syntax written because english language is no my native language.

Two Years, I do not received my bass.

I posted here on 06/02/09 about Fclef bass. Because I paid the down payment to them on 2008 US$1000- I met them at NAMM'09 and notice that the string spacing too width to play. George offer the option to build another bass. I accept it and change the specification which more details with price higher option. They requested me to paid more down payment. I paid them again another US$1000 in 2009. Once they got the money no return even call, email. After I posted here in 06/02/09, they call me as ask to remove my posted due to affect to their reputation. I removed my posted because they promise to complete the bass withing 4 months.

They promise to send me the picture of my bass progress. In September 2009, they send me some pictures with the wrong wood top. I told them it is not the wood top that I choice. They said the wood top on bass was more quality. They built another bass with my wood top and sold it. They posted these bass on their website.

I'm follow up frequently, they said the bass will complete on October 2009. On October till December, I tried to call, email many times to ask the progress but "NO REPLY".

Jan 2010, I went to NAMM show. I call them again many times, just only answer machine. I ask my friend in Florida to help me. It's the same thing just answer machine.

I tried again to locate their address and found his wife "Annie". She said will try to find the answer for me. It's the same again no reply.

Two years, they cheating my money.... US$2,000-

I think he is referring to F-clef bass(Invalid Link Removed)...not F-bass by George Furlanetto. The company names are similar, so I could see how easy it would be to get them confused.

Hope this gets resolved.

+1. I have no experience with George Traviani of Fclef basses. But I do have experience with George Furlanetto of F-bass, who I believe is a man of tremendous honesty and integrity.

Your story is upsetting, but this is a serious break in buyer/seller agreement. Unless she is an employee listed as a contact point for the company this would be to me an inexcusable breech of conduct. That being said, I probably would not finish the work commissioned by you, but I would definitely refund your money.

If I were him I would be exhausting every possible resource to get in contact with someone. When you're in $2,000 and get the runaround from everyone, I'd do whatever I could to contact the guy. If he decided to refund the money and not finish the work so be it but I'd be tracking this guy down for sure.

+100 - I'd be ready to whoop some serious ass if someone had my $2k.

I'd be calling his wife, his kids, his dog, I don't care. This is a bull**** story and it really upsets me.
