Double Bass Fdeck hpf pre series 3

Does anyone here know if these break..my volume knob is working fine but the filter knob doesn't seem to be making any difference to my ears at all..also I've never seen the led light up ..thanks pete

Hi. The LED is designed to only give a very brief "flash" when you plug something into the output jack. The "flash" means "at least one more gig."

The effect can be subtle. How I casually test it: Dial up the low end on your amp. Strum all of your strings. While they ring, turn the frequency knob back and forth. You should hear a kind of "vroom vroom" effect, almost like a bassy wah-wah pedal.

Hi..I finally got time to test the hpf pre series 3..bass up to max..strummed the bass..turned hpf knob back and forth..it has a light hum but no vroom vroom..regards pete
