I've been running several preamps (Fishman ProEq II Platinum, K&K blender) but I'm not happy at all with the sound. Actually I prefer to run my Underwood directly to the amp (little markbass + 4x10" Aguilar cab). The Bassmax sounds louder but too much boomy when I play the E & A strings.
That's why I want to try another preamp. I've read good things about Fdeck's little boxes and maybe a Series2 would be what I need.
I wrote him a few days ago but I haven't any reply yet. Is he still working on preamps?
Or maybe I'll have to try another one like Radial PZ or the newest Vintage Revolution's Acoustic Box?... too much $...
