Hey! Don't give him any ideas! I want him to sell that extra Growler (although I think you have dibs?)
I do have Dibs! @DirtyDuke I have DIBS!
Also, please leave @boomertech alone, he's supposed to be working on my Photon Fuzz and new mysterious pedal that he is sure I will like a lot![]()

I am running the Photon enclosures thru the CNC now. So, I get a bit of on-line time for each box... it is so nice to be working again!

Hopefully I'm far enough up the list to make the first run....
It's just so unique Frank. I have never heard a preamp that can be such a Swiss-army knife for getting dirt to cut through without overwhelming on volume. I've come to a point where it's really hard to gig without it. It's really the perfect dirty boost / growl enhancing pedal and it can do SO MUCH MORE. The bright boost circuit is pretty killer too for channel 2.
I'll be honest. It baffled me at first. Like what the hell, this sounds terrible. I knew I was doing something wrong. Went to the website, read up, learned and understood what it does. mine is pretty much on all the time. it has bent shafts from a previous owner and turns a little wonk, but works great. The key was balancing the dry....

Super super psyched for the Photon Fuzz. Hopefully I'm far enough up the list to make the first run....
And I am really happy you are working again Frank. Much more for you, than for us. But still....you know....

How many Growler pedals made it into the wild? I've only heard of a couple guys here with them and have never seen a used one anywhere. A pedal I've always wanted to try.
So I just got the FEA DB CL and I want to love it, I do because I love my last FEA compressor and seriously regret selling it. One thing though, I just may be too damn dumb to use this thing. I find that it severely squashed my signal unless I have the gain all the way up on both sides.
I play an MTD 435 and have Mesa Bass Prodigy. I want my levels to be well level, LOL, but not extremely squashed. Does anyone have any good settings they could share? I'm still a noob to the whole compressor thing, but I do notice a huge difference.

Only 50! I will never own a Growler. There are 50 Growlers in the wild and every single one of them needed to be balanced and trimmed. I would redesign the circuit for production if I were to ever make them again.
